Director of Incentive Services Joins The Gelber Organization
Edison, NJ... Eric Krohel of Whitehouse Station, N.J., has joined The Gelber Organization, a firm of multi-state tax professionals, as Director of Incentive Services.
His focus will be on enhancing client profit strategies and reducing tax exposure through the use of government incentive programs, cost reimbursements and tax credits when companies meet specific criteria. These programs include tax relief for expansions or new facilities, training grants for new employees, and tax credits for locating in certain economically disadvantaged areas.
Krohel was one of the first practitioners to specialize in the incentives and credits area and has been published extensively in major professional periodicals such as "MultiState Taxation and Incentives", "State Income Tax Alert", "Expansion Management" and numerous Incentive and Economic Development newsletters.
Krohel's 17 years of tax practice experience includes serving as Vice President of a Northeastern consulting firm; President of a New York-based internet company; and Auditor with the New Jersey Division of Taxation. Throughout his career, Krohel has served as an Adjunct Professor at Raritan Valley College in their business department.
He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and an MS in Taxation from Seton Hall University. He is also an active member of the New Jersey Technology Council.
The Gelber Organization is a consulting firm of Certified Public Accountants, former senior state tax officials and other tax professionals with particular expertise in the highly specialized field of State and Local Taxation.
